Anticipating Good Things From a Good God

August 11, 2024 | Pastor Darren DiBartolomeo

"As a child of God, if we are governed and trained and ruled by the God of the universe, what should we anticipate from Him towards us? If we call Him the "God of Love" and a "Good God," shouldn't we expect good things from a good God? A lot of times in our lives that we can get so distracted and so worn out that we stop anticipating good things. We develop a pessimism about life that the struggles of yesterday, the pain and struggles of the past, is something that will follow me all the days of my life. But the Word of God says, "Surely goodness will follow me all the days of my life." From the day we're born until the day we leave the earth, God has a good plan and a good purpose because He's a good God."
