Passage: Matthew 5:27-30
"What do you think it means to be pure in heart? Undivided devotion to God. See, God's trying to save us from having an adulterated relationship with Him. The reward for those that are pure in heart is to see God. Do you know what that means? It's the intimacy with God. Do you feel distant from God? That means there's divided devotion between you and God. The most powerful times of my life are in the midst of repentance. When I start to engage the holy life that God wanted for me, when I start engaging the temptations, and I say, 'No Satan! I'm gonna live the way that God wants me to live!'"
