Passage: John 7:1-24
There's a wonderful flow of the Christian life. When you hear the truth for the first time, and then you start to practice it. I just heard that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. And I also learned that God loved me so much that He gave His Son so I could have ever lasting life. So, I'm going to start reading, I'm going to start believing, I'm going to start listening, I'm going to start learning, I'm going to start doing what the Bible says. And you know what happens? The more you do that, the more you're gonna learn and be transformed! I'm not the person I used to be because the more I read the Word of God, the more I applied it to my life, the more the evil, the actions, and decisions went away. Because God's Word has authority!
You want joy in your life? Get rid of the shame and the guilt. Be free of the shame and the guilt! Guilt and shame can rob you of a life God wants for you. If you want to be free of it - be right with God. There's going to be joy, and peace, and power, and confidence. And you're not ashamed, and you don't devalue yourself. You're a child of God! You're loved!
