"Paul was robbed, and attacked by his own people, he was shipwrecked. But every time he felt pushed down and felt like giving up, he bounced back, he was resilient. Because the work of God is that important. As spectacular as that sounds, that is the normal Christian life! Do you understand what I'm saying? God was showing us - that's the normal Christian life. Christians don't quit! We don't give up because we are in a deep, abiding relationship with God! Do you know how Christians stumble, do you know what the biggest enemy of against resiliency in the Christian life? It's US!"
