Passage: Luke 2:25-40
Simeon knew what he was waiting for. And the Holy Spirit led him to that promise - perfect timing and fulfillment. Picture this - what if Simeon wasn't waiting for what the Holy Spirit had prepared for him? What if he wasn't yielded to the direction of the Holy Spirit? He would have missed his blessing.
What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for what God wants for you and for me for our lives? Or, are we stuck in the muck waiting for our own desires to be satisfied?
