Greedy God

Are we better than the sinners outside? No, we're just like them! And I don't care what you wear for apparel, I don't care where you work, I don't care how well you speak, you and I are not better than them! And why are they on the outside looking in? We need to welcome them in, we need to tell them, 'You are welcome here! And we are not better than you. You are worthy! You're a sinner in need of salvation, you're a sinner in need of a Savior, you're a sinner in need of forgiveness - the same forgiveness we enjoy, the same Savior we have, he's available to you! And you qualify!'

The centurion doesn't doubt God. And what was God's reaction? He was amazed by his faith. Is God amazed by your faith today, or is He dumbfounded by it? Does He say, 'I don't know what else I have to do to show them not only that I am available, but I have been holding them in My hand their whole life? And yet they live in fear and doubt!'
